For the third consecutive year, Maple Lane Farms in Greenback donated dozens of pumpkins to patients at Blount Memorial Hospital.

Jane Andrews, director of Blount Memorial Foundation and Community Outreach with a cart of pumpkins to deliver to patients. Several patients were surprised to receive a pumpkin, expressed their appreciation and jokingly asked who was making the pumpkin pie.

Patient Randall McKenzie was preparing for discharge and was given a pumpkin as hospital leaders walked the halls spreading Halloween cheer Monday afternoon. Pumpkins were donated for hospitalized patients by Maple Lane Farms in Greenback for the third consecutive year.

Orthopedic patients at Blount Memorial Hospital got a visit from Total Rehabilitation director Jamie Smith who helped deliver holiday cheer on the hospital’s 5-south floor.
