Wound Care
Effective wound care management for people with non-healing wounds
Our wound care management experts address the unique rehabilitation needs of people with non-healing wounds. If left untreated, wounds can lead to serious health problems, including disability, infection and amputation.
Available wound care services include:
- expert assessment, treatment and management by physical therapists with specialized training in wound care
- custom-tailored therapy plans designed to manage acute and chronic wounds, including burns, vascular and diabetic ulcers, traumatic wounds and surgical site wounds
Personalized approach
Based on an initial evaluation and your physician’s instructions, our therapists will create an individualized wound care treatment plan including patient education and specialized services. These may include anodyne Light therapy, hydrotherapy, skilled dressing changes, gait analysis with assistive devices, recommendations and home wound management.
