The Maryville Surgical Center is conveniently located on the Blount Memorial Hospital main campus in Maryville, Tennessee. This same-day surgery center was developed as a partnership between Blount Memorial and the hospital's surgical and anesthesia staffs.

The state-of-the-art facility features four operating rooms fully equipped with the latest equipment, one endoscopic/procedure room and a recovery room, which can accommodate 12 patients. In addition, the center offers personalized recovery areas, family waiting rooms, video and observation areas and a specialized children's area.

Outpatients undergoing cataract surgery, tonsillectomies and biopsies, for example, can arrive in the morning, receive the best surgical care available, and be back at home in time to watch the evening news.
